Facilities

Incorporating proven project management within our advanced manufacturing facility we are able to achieve all our clients needs.

We encompass all areas of the build range from bogie construction through to complete propulsion systems and locomotive manufacture.

Our test facility consists of:

  • 2.5-30 kV AC and 1.5 kV DC overhead
  • 350-950 V DC third rail
  • Full train heat supply testing capacity

This allows Brush Traction to acheive any specifications demanded by the customer. We can offer extensive re-engineering and maintenance capabilities for all types of railway motive power.

Techniques including finite element modelling, 3-D draughting and precision computer simulation are used to give a high integrity design. These methods allow accurate prediction of the performance of locomotives and propulsion drives in both steady state and transient conditions.
